Before booking an appointment with one of our clinicians, it may be worth looking at our self-referrals page to check if a surgery appointment is needed for the service you require.

How to Book an Appointment

You can make an appointment in the following ways:

Text Messaging

We now use text messaging services for appointment reminders, general information and specific information. In order for you to benefit from this service, please could we ask that you ensure we have your correct contact details on your records. To update your contact details, please complete our online Change of Personal Details form. If you do not wish to be contacted by text messages, kindly advise a receptionist using our Ask a Receptionist a Question form.

Appointment Types

Routine Appointments

Appointments are for 10 minutes only. Please be mindful of this when booking your appointment. If you require a longer appointment, please ask for a double appointment.

Appointments are available up to six weeks in advance. Please be advised that booking routine appointments where you do not need to be seen on the same day are considerably easier to book online where there will be a choice of appointments.

Urgent Appointments

Limited telephone and face to face appointments are available to book on the day from 08:00 for urgent medical problems.

In addition, there are GP appointments bookable via the surgery at the Caterham and Dene Minor Injuries Unit. You can find out more information about minor injury units by visiting our Treatment Room. 

Cancelling Appointments

If you cannot attend an appointment, please notify the practice as soon as possible to enable us to offer it to another patient.
